Meet the Staff

		Stephen Appelbaum Founder, President A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in photographic illustration, Stephen Appelbaum had worked for photographers in New York and New Jersey prior to starting the company. Moving from property damage photography for insurance companies to the area of plaintiff's personal injury cases, Appelbaum saw the need for a more complete demonstrative evidence service. He has lectured on the subject of legal photography for ICLE, several Inns of Court, and to numerous county bar associations. He has also been a platform speaker for national conventions of the Professional Photographers of America and the Evidence Photographers International Council, for whom he served as an editor of the Journal of Evidence Photography.
		Hernan Maldonado Production Manager Hernan is a graduate of Stockton State College having majored in visual arts with a concentration in photography. Hernan is responsible for the graphic arts and computer design department and is currently working on upgrading our computer systems as we move into the era of digital photography and imaging.
		Lewis Cohn Staff Photographer Lewis is a graduate of Rutgers University and has a masters degree from Syracuse University in television and radio. He has been involved in a variety of positions in the field of photography. Lewis recently passed a rigorous training and testing program and has been designated as a Certified Legal Video Specialist by the National Court Reporters Association. Lewis is married with one 4 year old son already trying to take over his job!
		Alice Rigolosi Office Manager Alice Rigliosi, office manager, brings more than twenty years of experience in bookkeeping and office managment to The Evidence Store. The mother of two sons, she lives in northern New Jersey with her husband, Casey, and the daughter she never had -- Daisy Mae, the eight-pound pup who runs the house. In her spare time, she is an avid walker (each and every morning, whether she's in the mood or not). She's also an expert bargain-hunter who can always find a better price for anything -- a talent that serves her well as The Evidence Store's keeper of the books.
		Juan Rosado Production Assistant Juan Rosado comes to The Evidence Store as a graduate of the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, also known as Arts High. Juan brings a strong background in both fine and mechanical drawing, and a willingness to jump into most any project that may come along. As a production assistant, Juan is responsible for making sure all work goes out on schedule, so we have assigned him the title of "Chief of Police" in the office. Juan is currently attending West Essex College in West Caldwell with a major in computer graphics and liberal arts. He plans to continue his education with post graduate work in communications.
		Jonathan Hill Senior Medical Illustrator Jonathan is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and has a masters degree from the Medical College of Georgia in medical illustration. He is an accomplished artist with a strong background in the biomedical sciences and an affinity for problem solving. Jonathan contributes to both the medical illustration and computer design departments.
